I used the same technique making the dim fiery runes from a couple of wallpapers ago. That technique was simple of course. Instead of giving a glow effect and motion blurs I used a bevel plug-in. I made the bevel a custom curve to give the best effect that I could. I never knew how to modify that curve style until I played around with the plug-in some.
I made sure the original color was used and the lighting effect is the glow I wanted. So with the dim runes I used the red base, and a yellow tinge for the bevel lighting. I also made sure to make the runes not so bright since they were dimmer now than in the past. When I was done with that I would of course do the standard glow behind the rune but dimmer and not overbearing.
That style was used for the twilight runes as well. I had originally used white as the glow effect but that just looked out of place so u used a more sky/electric blue for the lighter shade, and a very dark blue as the faint glow with that they were set. The wallpaper I decided to add some nice highlights to make them more like they were in the bars and giving off a faint glow. Those small touches always made my day.
I know it has been almost a month since my last wallpaper, and I wanted this one to be a little more special since people may have been waiting for me. I know I posted every week I would post a new wallpaper, but things happened and with life time flies on by. Now heres something to look forward to in the future as well. With the Twilight Runes will mean that I will make more tune types with different color sets when the time comes. But they will always be tired to the Fiery Runes Series.
Thanks for following me all this time everyone. Each week or so that I post new work your comments good or bad help keep me driving on! Thanks a million and enjoy the new Twilight Runes!
